Salamanca is where we started winding down our three months of European travel. It is a tiny college town with not much to do. We took it pretty low and slow here. It was the perfect city for that too, coffee shops, churros con chocolate, and good weather made it perfect. We found an incredible bar to go to at night full of pinchos. For $1.50 you would get a small beer and pincho. We went there both nights we stayed here for “dinner.”
We basically did nothing here and loved every moment of it. Waking up late, walking around slowly, running into random festivals, and eating lots of food. It was a great way to prepare for our huge trek to SE Asia.
